THE ORGANISATION
AsIAm is Ireland?s national autism charity, based in Blackrock, Co
Dublin. The organisation works tirelessly to create a society in which
every autistic person is empowered to reach their own personal
potential and fully participate in society. We are growing rapidly and
are significantly reliant on fundraising from the public to support
our work in Community Support, Education, Training and Advocacy.
HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
The Fundraising Manager will report to the Director of Corporate
Affairs and will be responsible for developing, implementing and
managing AsIAm?s fundraising programme. You will create and
implement strategies to grow our income from multiple channels which
include events, digital marketing, grants and partnerships.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
* Proactively lead the implementation of the organisation?s
fundraising strategy
* Overall management of key fundraising campaigns and events
* Meet income targets and devise / develop opportunities to grow
income levels from both individual and campaign donors
* Construct / write funding proposals, applications, pitches, and
fundraising appeals
* Identify and drive advertising, marketing, and sales channels to
recruit new donors
* Develop strong relationships with and provide support and
leadership to the volunteer fundraising group
* Leverage technology, website & social media where possible in
support of fundraising activities
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING
EXPERIENCE:
* 3+ years? experience in fundraising, marketing, sales or business
development
* Proven track record in successfully organising fundraising events
* Delivering marketing campaigns via direct mail, managing digital
and email campaigns. TV and radio experience an advantage
* Experience and competence with using a CRM
* Passion for the work of AsIAm and the impact you can make
